Last two weeks, as convinced by Mol, Ven and I finally made her dream of visting S21( known as Kok Toul Sleng or Toul Sleng Prison) come true. There were only the three of us since Nory could not manage to come along. I remember it was a horribly hot day as we were driving along the streets in Ven's car towards the former Khmer Rouge Prison which is somewhere not far from one of our friends' house.
Once arrived at the site, Mol told us that she felt somehow unconfortable and at the same time she was full of excitement as well as horror as she was expecting to see something she had always wanted to see for all her life. As for Ven and I, nothing hardly scare us coz it was not our first time to arrive at the site. To me in particular, I felt fresh this time. By fresh I mean i no longer imagine what the atmosphere of this prison was like during 3Y8M20D of Pol Pot regime when seeing the buildings, the walls and the skulls of the dead. I don't know why i felt so. But you may not believe it that the first time i was here i could feel and smell the spirits of those who were tortured and killed here.
S21 Prison or Kouk Toul Sleng
You also may not believe who we met here.
This old man is one of a very few of those who
survived from this hell of S21. He told us alot
about how he was tortured as a S21 prisoner.
I think i am very lucky to meet this 79 year old
S21 survivor. From his description of the regime
i think i have learnt some more of what i didn't
know.

Is it because of the camera? I see you guys fatter than before :D
Yeah, i think so Hour. Very possibly becoz of the shirt m wearing. I actually look much thinner.

It was cos of the cam. The pics were somehow kinda distorted. And we appeared quite short and fat. Anyway nice post. Been wanting to post one about it but since you have done it already, that's good enough for me.
Ven:
